Ndisi Allays Fears Over Association Collapse

By Benard Adera
The interim chairman of Our Lady of Fatima Old Students Association (OLOFOSA) Isaiah Ndisi has dispelled fears that the association is tottering on the brink of collapse, hardly a year since its revival. The law student at Moi University in Eldoret explained that failure by the association to hold regular meetings should not be interpreted for failed leadership. “I’m always in touch with my secretary and can confidently report that everything is on course, just watch my steps” he said in a telephone interview with Darasa Times on March 24, 2010.
The association held its last public meeting in August last year during which a team was selected to write its constitution. A member in the constitution writing team whom we cannot name because he is not the spokesperson of the association confirmed to Darasa Times in January that the constitution draft was ready and only awaiting members’ scrutiny and endorsement. However, this has been procrastinated as the leaders have not been able to convene a meeting to that effect.
OLOFOSA is the umbrella body that brings together all K.C.S.E victims and survivors from Our Lady of Fatima Secondary School in Kariobangi.
