Varsity Leaders Want Kadhi’s Court Killed From Draft And Life Clause Decorated, Or Else, They Will Drop It

Over 50 student leaders meeting in Nakuru over the last weekend want kadhi’s court expunged from the draft constitution and the controversial abortion clause reviewed if the proposed draft is to get their nod.
In a joint statement read by the student leaders chairman Mr. David Ndegerege (pictured) of Maseno University, the students said that they will not endorse a constitution that will lead to injustice and instability in the country.
"All religions must be treated equally if we are to build a stable nation," the joint statement by the student leaders read in part.
