KU Edges Out Peers to Partner DOD

By Darasa Correspondent in KU
Kenyatta University will as from October this year start offering a degree course in Military studies. This is after a competitive bidding initiated by the Department of Defense (DOD) in July 2008 which saw KU trounce other public universities in the tendering process.
The three-year course which will see eligible military personnel graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in military training is set to start in October this year. The university and Kenya Military have already signed an MOU to seal the deal.
About 150 servicemen will be enrolled for the programme as pioneer students
